"I was very luckily taken care of by Jessica Crosby. She is phenomenal. Truly singular. In a world full of insurance agents, I can honestly say it was such a pleasure working with her. She was kind, professional, relatable, personable, knowledge, prepared, patient, easy to understand, and just a pleasure to speak with. "Rarely compelled to leave reviews, especially on an agency I cancelled policy with months ago. But Huston Richards agency is a profit hungry agency with no care for their covered. When I did have my policy, it kept going up every single renewal. Called to get understanding, and the answer was always “it is what it is Missouri pricing” and could NEVER reduce my bill, even as I had State Farm for the ages of FIFTEEN TO THRITY YEARS OLD. Even with repeated “my bill is too high” calls, Houston’s agents still HAMMER sales calls for life insurance, RAISE YOUR BILL, WE CAN DO THAT! Daily. Weekly. No pulse check on the cold calls. Just cold calls.
Since terminating policy with SF/Houston I have been texted on 2 separate occasions “COME BACK NOW WE CAN SAVE YOU MONEY”
Take care of people proactively. Care about people over calls. Truly. Not just for Facebook posts and profit gains."

I’m very taken back by this one star review you have given our agency. First and foremost, our apologies for simply trying to extend our most recent rate decrease your way. I can assure you, it won’t happen again. Secondly, it’s clear you know very little about our agency and the staff inside. The intent of every business is profit, there has to be some to keep the doors open. But profit is the last thing on our minds every day inside our office. We know doing the right thing, every time and showing up when it matters most… is what allows profit to happen. Every day we go above and beyond for our customers.
Every single customer is like an extension of our family and we make sure to treat them that way. We would think you would know this by the amount of times we helped you with numerous situations. Our notes have a good record of conversations that we assisted you in a way that profit was the last thing on our mind.
Unfortunately we don’t control rates directly in our office. We enforce them. We wish we did, conversations would be a lot easier. Insurance follows an inflationary curve and when the prices of things go up, insurance tends to follow that. After all, you’re paying us to repair or replace your vehicle with parts that are increasing in value during those times. We did have some rough renewal cycles with rate increases but as with all insurance, it goes up and it goes down. But the good news is that when years are good, we give back dividends. Most recently our recent announcement of 5.5 BILLION going back to our customers. (That’s far from profit hungry)
Our employees do a job with merit, courage and integrity every single day. Asking our customers about life insurance is something we do every day and we won’t apologize for. Being there for those families in the darkest times of their lives, we won’t apologize for. It’s what we do. We are advocates for families.
Our notes indicate times where we did have conversations with you about ways to lower bills but we only have so much control over that.
We do our best every single day to protect the things our customers work hard for. We take pride in that and pride in the job we do. We don’t do it for Facebook post we do it because it’s who we are!
